Sponsor a Village.
With your support, villages will be able to see dramatic changes in health outcomes due to reduction in waterborne diseases resulting from lack of access to clean water. Also, the local economy is immediately affected, as women and children no longer have to travel, often by foot, to bring unclean water back to the village for cooking, bathing and washing. The time savings frees family members to help provide for the economic and developmental needs of the family and village community as a whole. Each village has unique needs; some need wells or washroom equipment, while others need equipment repair or training. As we assess the water development and disease prevention needs of villages in partner countries, they are listed for your consideration. We’ll prominently display your name or the name of your organization at each well site and list you as a Village Sponsor on our website and print materials. You’ll also receive a unique, high quality, Fountains of Eden paper weight as a small gift to be a lasting expression of our appreciation and signifying your generous humanitarian support. We encourage you or your organization to collaborate, work with another organization, friends or a group to sponsor a well. It doesn’t matter. What does matter is that we help do what we can to provide clean water, to help save lives. Everyone has the right to clean and safe water. Sponsor a Well – individual, group, or organization
We’ll prominently display your name(s) or the name of your organization at each well site and list you as a Well Sponsor on our website and print materials. Wells vary in cost, but the average well costs around $3500. We ask for a donation of $5000 to sponsor a well which helps to offset expenses for wells that cost far more than the average. So if a well costs $6000, the shared expense from another sponsor will help. We encourage you or your organization to collaborate, work with another organization, friends or a group to sponsor a well. It doesn’t matter. What does matter is that we help do what we can to provide clean water, to help save lives. Everyone has the right to clean and safe water. All donations, great and small, are greatly appreciated.
